Latest news: Tigger and I competed at the World Cup Finals in Allen, Texas in 2007. We made it to the finals of the finals and won the 9th place!!!! I am so extremely proud of my little magic Tigger... And Tigger, Jones and I competed at the World Cup Series Finals dog frisbee in Scottsdale Arizona in 2006. Tigger qualified for the finals on the 5th of November! I'm very proud of my little worker and I'm so excited I played with her in the country where I saw dog frisbee and the aussie for the first time and fell in love with both! She's now a multi world cup finalist.... Doesn't that sound awesome! Tigger was our first Aussie and comes from the Wyndanwood kennel. She is an Aussie! She loves to work and does anything I ask of her. She is very much my (Karens) dog. She helps me out with the dog training lessons and is always close to me. She is a good help with the puppy classes. She has this true Aussie look, is very intelligent, but she is also our most reserved dog. She likes you or not. There’s nothing in between. If she doesn’t like you, you will know. And you know what: SHE HATES SHOWING!! Nevertheless she won a second place in Königswinter in May 2001 under ASCA judge Sheila Polk. At Dutch shows she has received a few excellent ratings. At the ASCN Clubmatch Tigger got a third place in the open class. We do not plan more showing with her as she simply doesn’t like it.

In May 2001 Tigger and I started doggydancing. She loves it (and I do too)! We also play frisbee together, and when I teach her new doggydance or obedience things, the frisbee is always close at hand. The frisbee is the best reward I can give her. Tigger and I give demonstrations doggydancing and frisbee pretty often. Tigger is a fantastic family dog and a great worker. I just love her to death! She's my little wondergirl and fortunately she gave a lot her working capabilities to her kids, who all do well in either agility or dog frisbee! Tigger already won a lot of prices in both the beginners and the novice class with doggydance, although we always get 5 points deduction because she barks so much! |
